Terms and Conditions

FareBird is created to assist and facilitate travelers from all over the world in buying air tickets, hotel bookings, and car rentals to any place on the globe. However, prior to accessing this travel portal for services, it is recommended that you read all of the clauses in the "Terms and Conditions" page and accept all of the terms and conditions laid out.

By using this website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. The specified terms and conditions apply to all types of service booking-related transactions conducted on FareBird and are sanctioned by legal obligations.

General Disclaimer

Acceptance of fares given by FareBird and its partner websites is implied by your use of the website (FareBird). You also acknowledge that the rates listed on our travel portal are the product of an agreement between associated Travel Suppliers (airlines, hotels, and car rentals) and FareBird and may include a fee levied by us for providing our services.

When you use this website to buy flight tickets or hotel bookings, you give FareBird and its partners access to book travel services that meet with the travel supplier of your choosing for the entire price displayed, which includes any applicable charges, fees, or taxes.

FareBird will not be held liable for any error or inexactitude displayed or published on the website as an independent online platform with no control over fare adjustments made by end suppliers. Furthermore, we are not liable for any failure on the part of end suppliers from whom you have purchased travel services via this website.

FareBird is an independent online travel service with no influence or involvement in the operations of end suppliers like airlines, hotels, or car rentals. Furthermore, we have no control over any case in which the source fails to supply you with the services due to a calamity, such as harsh weather conditions, government orders, strikes, curfew, or natural catastrophe. We cannot be held accountable for any damage caused by the use of any of the material, offers, or connections to other sites embedded in this website, and we cannot be held liable for any refund from any loss caused by the use of any of the content, offers, or links to other sites included in this website.

We are not responsible for any refunds if the end provider fails to supply you with the services after confirmation of the booking and you have already paid. All refunds must be initiated by the provider or the insurance company covering such defaults, if any, or as the law requires.

FareBird is not responsible or liable for any actions taken by the final provider beyond our control.

FareBird will not be held liable for any injury, error, loss, act, damage, delay, accident, omission, non-performance, or any consequence or irregularity resulting from any end supplier's negligence or failure, including but not limited to airlines and hotels.

After the payment has been made and the consumer has received the confirmation, FareBird has no control over any adjustments or changes made by the end-supplier in pricing, flight schedules, lodgings, or equipment.

FareBird cannot be held liable for any cancellations resulting from weather conditions, government orders, strikes, curfews, natural disasters, or other unforeseen circumstances that influence your trip booking with us. FareBird is not responsible for describing the features contained in any of our end service providers' travel products and services, including but not limited to mentioned services ratings, offers, discounts, and photos.

FareBird is not responsible for any currency conversion fees or final currency rates that you may be charged for any international reservations or bookings made via our website. You agree that currency exchange rates are subject to change and are updated regularly based on economic conditions. The fares indicated on the website are in the native currency.

We do not advise canceling tickets once they have been issued. Many end service providers who have received money tickets are non-refundable under any circumstances, and there may be a cancellation charge. The choice to provide refunds is solely up to the service provider.

FareBird does not influence the fares displayed on your airline tickets, which may include tickets bought under a specified rate (lower or higher than the collected fare), as well as bulk fares.

Our website's discounts and offers may vary according to the cabin class, airline, destination, travel season, and advance notice offered. FareBird does not guarantee or accept any responsibility for the services and goods of any advertisers that are advertised and promoted on our website.

An agreement between you and the final supplier may be formed when you book any services through our website. In this situation, your reservation or booking may be subject to extra terms and conditions.

We recommend that you study the terms in the prepared "Terms & Conditions" that may be found on the travel supplier's official website.

By registering, accessing, or using the website to inquire about or book the services advertised, promoted, or shown on FareBird, and by clicking on "I have read and agree to the terms and conditions," you agree to the following:

  • You are a potential service user who has been given authority to open these Terms & Conditions.
  • You permit us to transmit money for services purchased through the website.
  • You undertake to follow all of the regulations contained in these Terms and Conditions, as well as any other documents referred to herein by reference.

Such payments to end providers are not shown on FareBird payment invoice for the booked services, such as your vehicle, hotel, or airline.

You acknowledge that any violation of the end providers' regulations may result in the cancellation of your reservation (s). The provider reserves the right to refuse access to the services you requested, and the refund procedure is subject to the supplier's policies.

Restrictions of Liability/Disclaimer

FareBird or its collaborators are not liable for any damages incurred, including but not limited to virus attacks on the customer's computer, data loss, and other technical damages, while using their account or surfing, downloading any data, text, images, video, audio, or additional information from FareBird or information associated with any email or links sent to you by FareBird.

Under no circumstances will FareBird or its collaborators/affiliates be held accountable or liable for any claim, harm, consequential, indirect or direct damage, loss, punitive, or incidental damages of any kind (including, without limitation, loss of profits, lost business, or lost savings), whether arising from a contract, strict liability, tort, or otherwise, that arises out of or is in any way associated with the use, or inability to use, the site or its services or if you use the site.

Our collaborators' and distributors' obligations will never exceed the complete charges incurred due to such accountability. Any cause of action or claim arising from your access to, use of, or purchase of items and/or services from the site that was brought within one hundred and eighty (180) days of the date the claim arose, the action was taken, or transaction was completed.

The restriction or exclusion of responsibility for such consequential and incidental losses may not be covered by applicable or stated legislation. As a result, the restriction described above may not apply to you.

You understand and accept that FareBird and its affiliates are not liable for any harm suffered as a result of your use of the material, offers, or connections to other websites included in this website by using FareBird website.

FareBird is a completely independent online travel agency with no ties to any end-service providers. We exclusively advertise, sell, and take bookings for travel items and services, such as cruises, flights, meals, hotels, tours, and travel insurance, among others. We cannot be held liable for any failure on the part of the vendors whose products and services are made available through our website.

Purchasing Tickets

Please keep in mind that all pricing is in US dollars. If you visit FareBird to make travel reservations or bookings on behalf of another person, it is your sole responsibility to inform the person(s) about

  1. Terms & Conditions that apply to all bookings and reservations,
  2. All restrictions and rules that apply, and
  3. Booking flight tickets on their behalf.

When you use our website to make travel arrangements, you agree and accept that you are financially liable for your use of the site; (ii) you are responsible for the use of your account by others; and (iii) you are responsible for any bookings made via your account.

Any speculative, false, or fraudulent booking shall be declared void or invalid under any circumstances.

Pricing, Taxes/Fees, and Payment

You agree to and accept all costs imposed by the end service provider on you. Unless indicated in your ticket issued to you via email or in these Terms & Conditions, the total price given to you includes all fees, charges, and applicable taxes on flights, hotel stays, vehicle rentals, and other travel items you selected at the time of booking via FareBird. Furthermore, you may be responsible for additional expenses, like fuel surcharges, security, seat reservations, hotel incidentals, and luggage fees, which the end-supplier may charge at the time of check-in. We recommend contacting the airline directly if you have any concerns, as FareBird has no control over such levies and charges.

Liability insurance, collision damage waiver, drop-off charges, personal effects protection, sky racks, personal accident insurance, or incidental room charges at the hotel, child safety seats and gas are not included in the prices offered to you on FareBird to avail or purchase travel service(s) of your choice. The fees listed above must be paid at the time of hotel check-in and during or prior to vehicle rental pickup.

Please keep in mind that the costs you see on FareBird at the time of booking do not include or integrate any additional fuel surcharges or other fees that may apply to you and will be collected by the individual end service provider or related authorities. Passengers are solely responsible for any costs that may be incurred.

Passengers are solely responsible for presenting a valid or legitimate credit or debit card at the time of booking in order to begin the payment process.

FareBird accepts all credit and debit cards with a valid billing address. When you use your credit or debit card to make a payment, you give FareBird or third-party permission to process your payment for the entire amount of your booking at your discretion.

The passenger's exclusive responsibility is to present a valid credit or debit card at the time of hotel check-in and/or car rental pickup to verify card usage and/or secure any extra costs. Please remember that the cardholder whose credit or debit card you're ready to provide must be one of the passengers on your reservation.

Please keep in mind that all sales offers, fares, and arrangements are subject to the following conditions:

  • Limits on eligibility, seating, advance purchase, or other factors.
  • Be subject to change without notice.
  • Availability.
  • Validation limitations of up to one year (if an extension is granted, it will be restricted/penalized).
  • Travel dates, amount of days, holidays, seasons, blackout dates, layovers, and/or wait-list limitations
  • Additional limits or constraints

A booking is not finalized until it has been verified or provided a ticket. To prevent any loss or harm to our clients, we will make sure to verify the details associated with your credit card along with the billing address so that we can charge it to begin the payment process for the amount for which you have used FareBird services.

The fare you've been quoted is subject to change until the authentication or verification procedure is finished. If your credit or debit card is denied, or if the issuing business or a travel provider denies the transaction, or if we cannot validate the credit/debit card billing address and/or verification number, FareBird cannot be held liable.

If the fare you choose is no longer available, you will be given an authorization code to put on your credit card. If the transaction fails, the money may be temporarily credited to your bank account using this provided permission number. Furthermore, FareBird cannot be held liable for any fare adjustments during or after our verification procedure.

Policy on Schedule Changes

The airline's policies on schedule modifications may differ, and we do not influence them.

Changes in flight schedules may be necessary owing to each airline's operating requirements. These changes are frequently a foreshadowing of future travel demands, but they can also represent changes on the same day. Flight cancellations occur when an airline suspends service on specific days of the week or suspends or temporarily cancels service to particular cities.

If there are any schedule changes, FareBird takes every attempt to notify the consumer. However, contacting the airline directly to reconfirm your tickets within 72 hours of departure is always suggested.

Changes to Already-Booked Flights

Most airline tickets, hotels, vehicles, packages, and cruises, for example, do not allow any alterations or adjustments to the booking, including but not limited to name, date of the trip, and several passengers. We are not responsible for any negative consequences resulting from the passenger's request to change the original schedule.

FareBird will not be held liable for any losses incurred due to a flight cancellation by the airline due to bad weather conditions or other accidents.

The Price Match Challenge

FareBird aims to provide travel-related services and products at the most competitive prices, such as flight tickets, hotel bookings, and car rentals, so that clients' expectations are never disappointed when they choose us for a trip booking.

If you find lower-cost airfares for the same flight on a major competitor's website (online travel agency) than what we have offered you, or if prices have been dropped, we recommend calling our customer service department within 4 hours of buying your ticket and before 10:00 p.m. on that day.

What exactly does "Major Competitor (Online Travel Agency)" imply?

The term "major competitor (online travel agency)" refers to online travel agencies established in the United States of America that compete with us. Orbitz.com, Priceline.com, Travelocity.com, and Expedia.com are some of the major competitors (online travel agencies).

What does it mean to have "the same flying itinerary"?

A situation in which every component of your original booking with us, including airline, flight number(s), itinerary (source, destination, and spoke), cabin class, date(s), passenger count, and seat type, matches the one you find on a major competitor's (online travel agencies) website is referred to as "the same flight itinerary."

What exactly does "available for booking" mean?

The term "available for booking" refers to the situation in which the itinerary you bought for yourself through our website was also available for booking on the website of a major competitor (online travel agency) when you contacted us.

Is the price match challenge subject to any exceptions?

  • The Price Match Challenge does not apply to fares obtained through corporate discounts, membership program sites, group travel deals, charters, incentives, meetings, conventions, rewards programs, or consolidator fares, or fares obtained through corporate discounts, membership program sites, group travel deals, charters, incentives, meetings, conventions, rewards programs, or consolidator fares.
  • The Price Match Challenge does not apply to bulk bookings, vacation packages, "Web Only" prices, student travel, military travel, or any other type of fare error.
  • Furthermore, the Price Match Challenge does not apply to bookings that are classified as "bidding" or "auction" or to tickets that are classified as "opaque."
  • The term "opaque ticket" refers to bookings where airline booking information is not revealed until the ticket is issued and payment is completed.
  • Only certain airlines are included in the Price Match Challenge.

Booking Terminologies and Restrictions

To confirm the legitimacy of a travel reservation or booking, the following procedures must be followed:

FareBird encourages everyone to propose the travel services and goods available for purchase on FareBird. Make sure you've clicked or tapped "Confirm Booking" on the Site's payment page to make a service offer.

You cannot cancel a booking once you have clicked "Confirmed booking" and launched it since you have offered FareBird. You accept and confirm the travel service purchase from the applicable Travel Supplier by clicking 'Confirm Booking' (s).

FareBird has the right to accept or reject your booking request on behalf of the relevant Travel Supplier at its sole discretion.

Please note that the email message issued to the passenger(s) only acknowledges that their booking request was successfully received and does not imply that the booking has been confirmed.

Our staff will check the availability of services from the end-supplier in order to handle your booking or reservation request. We will continue the booking process after we obtain confirmation from the supplier on the availability of your selected travel deal.

Please keep in mind that a contract that adheres to a specific booking is only effective if full payment has been received.

Only services confirmed by email with ticket numbers and verified reservation receipts will be covered by the contract between you and the end supplier/service provider.

FareBird cannot guarantee the price, availability, or dates of travel until you and your end service provider have signed a contract and the ticket has been issued in your name.

Please keep in mind that once you've received your booking confirmation email and tickets have been issued in your name, you may only cancel or change the terms of your reservation in accordance with the applicable legislation and the Terms & Conditions listed below.

The whole booking procedure, including Airline, hotel, car rental, and attraction bookings, will adhere to the terms and conditions of the final supplier. FareBird retains the right to amend the reservation method at any moment, with modifications taking effect immediately after being posted on the Site.

A government-issued picture ID must be carried throughout your trip to ensure seamless security checks at airports, hotels, and car rental facilities. You may also be asked to provide such identification at several tourist destinations.

While going to any overseas destination, you must have a government-issued ID as well as evidence of citizenship (passport) (for most countries outside of the United States).

Passengers are solely responsible for carrying and providing essential documentation, including but not limited to passports, government-issued picture ID, and visas; otherwise, you may be refused to board.

Please note that if you are a no-show or are refused to board by the supplier or the airport authorities, FareBird, its collaborators, or partners will not be held liable, and you will not be eligible for any reimbursement.

Depending on your location, government entry/exit fees may apply. This is entirely your responsibility and will be charged in addition to your booking fees.

FareBird has the right, at its sole discretion, to correct mistakes or make changes to any listed price. If this is the case, we will provide you the opportunity to cancel your current reservation or pay the price difference resulting from the increase in rates using the credit or debit card you supplied before your departure.

All guests with the same reservation must travel on the same itinerary. You are not permitted to add or remove any passengers from an existing reservation.

For any element of your booking, frequent traveler points and/or miles may or may not be accessible. You should confirm this with the appropriate Travel Supplier.

You are not permitted to transfer or modify the name(s) or destination(s) indicated in your existing bookings after the booking has been confirmed and tickets have been issued.

Unless there are unusual circumstances, your booking will be completed on the delivery date provided in your ticket information email or, if no delivery date is given, on the date the ticket is issued.

Airline's Contract of Carriage

The terms and conditions in this Agreement are in accordance with the terms of each Airline's carriage contract. All passengers have the right to read and comprehend the entire text of the contract of carriage at the airport or city ticket offices at their own discretion.

Furthermore, the passenger has the option of requesting that the Airline submit the Agreement of the carriage through mail or other means.

The following clauses may be included in the carriage contract:

  1. Restrictions on filing claims, such as the time limits within which passengers must register a claim or pursue an action against the Airline for its or its agents' conduct or omissions;
  2. Limitations on the Airline's responsibility in the event of a passenger's injury or death, as well as the loss, damage, or delay of cargo and luggage, particularly fragile or perishable items;
  3. These rules govern the confirmation of bookings, check-in timings, and denial to carry.
  4. The Airline has the right to amend the contract's conditions.
  5. Rights and limits of the Airline in the event of a delay or failure to provide service, including schedule modifications, other airline or aircraft replacement, and rerouting.

Warsaw Convention

Suppose your itinerary involves a final destination or stop in a country other than the one you specified at the time of booking. In that case, the "Warsaw Convention" may apply to your whole trip, including any portion or all of your travel inside the country of origin or destination.

Please be aware that if the "Warsaw Convention" applies to your journey, some air carriers' responsibility is restricted in the event of death, loss of personal property such as luggage, or harm to passengers.

Advice to International Travelers

Passengers who begin on a voyage with a final destination or a stop in a country other than their departure country are covered by treaties such as the Warsaw Convention and the Montreal Convention.

Please be aware that if the "Montreal Convention" or "Warsaw Convention" applies to your journey, certain air carriers' responsibility is limited in the event of death, loss of personal property such as luggage, or harm to passengers.

We recommend that you get travel insurance from any travel operator to provide additional safety for your trip.

Please note that these travel insurances are unaffected by the Montreal or Warsaw Conventions, limiting some air carriers' responsibility. For additional information, we recommend contacting the airline or your insurance company.

Cancelation/ Modification Policy

FareBird attempts to give outstanding service to its users/customers in hotel reservations, airline ticket booking, and vehicle rental. As a result, we've created a detailed cancellation/modification policy so that passengers understand the full cancellation and refund procedure. The conditions and terms listed above are both flexible and rigid and have been established in accordance with supplier policy.

All cancellation/amendment requests for airline flight bookings must be made over the phone with one of our customer care representatives. However, we will only consider the cancellation petition if all of the following requirements are met:

  1. If the passenger(s) has made a cancellation or change request to our customer service representative, contact our dedicated customer service line.
  2. The supplier/airline policy allows for cancellation and alteration requests to be processed.
  3. If your flight ticket does not qualify for one of our special prices and offers.
  4. If the airline has not completed the reservation and the booking status is still pending.
  5. If the flight is canceled due to bad weather, a strike, a natural disaster, a curfew, government directives, or other unforeseen circumstances.

FareBird does not recommend changing online flight reservations once they have been booked. At our sole discretion, we retain the right to carry out the modifying procedure connected to the delay or rescheduling of an existing flight booking. FareBird cannot be held liable for any adverse repercussions from the passenger's request for adjustments to an existing booking.

FareBird will not be held responsible for any losses incurred if the airline cancels the flight due to bad weather conditions or other accidents.

Refund Policy

If you buy more than 24 hours in advance, service fees imposed by the travel agency, airline tickets, and trip protection insurance purchased at the time of booking are usually non-refundable. However, the refund request will only be considered if the following requirements are met:

If the passenger(s) has submitted a request for a refund or waiver to our customer service representative by phone, and if the airline's or designated end supplier's fare rules have a procedure in place to handle refunds;

  • A refund request will be considered genuine only when the passenger is not a "no show." If a person fails to arrive at the airport on time before the flight's planned departure, they will be considered a "no show." Please note that "no show" reservations will not be refunded.
  • If we can get waivers from suppliers, we'll handle this reimbursement.

FareBird has no control over determining how long it will take to commence and complete the passenger's refund request. The whole refund request procedure follows a predetermined path or sequence. Once the customer has requested a refund of the booking over the phone with our travel agent, they will get an email message from us confirming that their refund request has been received.

The email message issued to the passenger(s) only acknowledges that their request was received and provides them with a unique tracking number; it does not imply that the passenger is entitled to a refund.

Once we get your refund request, we'll start the process by contacting providers such as airlines to produce a waiver based on airline guidelines, and we'll keep you updated on the outcome.

We do not reimburse the service fees for the initial flight reservations. It is solely up to the end providers to obtain reimbursements from the airlines. If the airline agrees to the refund, it may take seven or more working days for the reimbursed amount to reflect on your credit/debit card statement. All providers, in general, impose a certain penalty against the refund.

From the time you submit your refund and cancellation request until you get credit in your account, the refund procedure might take 60-90 days. Apart from the airline's refund penalty, FareBird levied a post-ticketing service fee. All refund costs are assessed per person and ticket. The waiver will be considered only if the supplier has accepted the requested refund and the airline regulations allow for such reimbursements. Suppose the airline refuses to accept such a refund. In that case, we will pay you our reasonable post-ticketing service costs, but not our booking fees for the original travel reservations or bookings.

Promo Codes

FareBird discount codes are only good for bookings made online. However, most of these promotional codes may only be obtained by calling our customer service department.

1.Subscribing to our newsletter is recommended to get promo coupons by email.

2.Customers have unique access to non-transferable promo codes, cannot be combined with other offers, and cannot be sold or bartered. They can't be exchanged for cash, either.

3.The total discount from all FareBird promotional codes is up to 30%.

Enter a valid promo code on the payment page to receive the discount provided to you in the form of a promo code. You will not be able to take advantage of the discount until you input the specific promo code sent to you.

If you encounter a technical problem and cannot apply the coupon code, you have the right to refuse to use the flight or other travel services. Please note that after the payment has been completed and the ticket has been given, you will not be able to apply the promo code.

Please be aware that the discount code mailed to customers is subject to change and may be altered or removed at any moment without notice.

FARE CHANGES AND POST-PAYMENT PRICE GUARANTEE

If there are any changes to the airfares before the transaction is finalized, you may be informed. You have the option to accept or deny the transaction after you receive such notification. You will not be charged if you decline.

FareBird' Post Payment Price Guarantee

FareBird pledge to block the entire final stated price of the plane tickets upon successful payment processing (debit/credit card), regardless of any changes in the cost of airfare.

PAYMENT ACCEPTANCE POLICY

  • Your account may show two separate charges for airline fees and service fees.
  • Service costs will be levied per person, per ticket for any modifications, refunds, cancellations, and future credits.
  • All post-ticketing service costs, like our transaction service fees (booking fees), are non-refundable and subject to change without notice. Our prices are in addition to any fees and charges levied by the airline and/or other suppliers.
  • Our plane tickets are almost all non-refundable. Airline fare rules, policies, and procedures apply to future credits and airline refunds.
  • Note: Please keep in mind that all service fees are susceptible to change at any time. Regardless of any change or variation in the service fees, YOU WILL BE CHARGED THE FINAL TOTAL PRICE AS QUOTED. Please double-check the whole final pricing.
  • Credit and debit cards from the US, Canada, and a range of other nations are accepted. We also agree to accept billing addresses from AE/AP.

Important Note:

  • You will be notified within 24 hours if the method of payment (credit/debit card or any other way) is not accepted for any reason. It may take more than 24 hours for non-credit/debit card payment options.
  • Your credit/debit card may be charged in numerous stages (in US dollars) to arrive at the final total price.
  • All reservations, including car rentals, tours, and hotels, are only confirmed after the final details are emailed to the email address provided during the reservation process. In some situations, you may be required to pay a deposit in order to get confirmation.

Such transactions will not be handled until our credit card verification team has validated that they are safe to process to provide your safety in the event of a high-risk transaction. We may call you or your bank to validate potentially high-risk transactions.

TICKET DELIVERY

  • Most of the tickets are digital or e-tickets, although a printed ticket will be given in rare cases.
  • FareBird will send physical tickets using a secure delivery mechanism for bookings where e-tickets cannot be given (a reputed courier company). According to the charges mentioned on the site for this service, the appropriate shipping charges will be taken from the credit holder's account. As a result, we recommend verifying the shipping costs before making any reservations.
  • These shipping charges are presented before making a reservation, and you can choose not to purchase tickets to avoid them.
  • FareBird is not responsible for any errors made by the delivery firm. We will make every effort to redeliver, but we cannot promise it will be done on time. If you provide an incorrect address, you will be required to pay an extra cost to the delivery firm to change the address. The credit card you used to make the payment will be charged. The ticket information will be available on the site if an electronic ticket is issued.

PAYMENTS: CREDIT CARDS/DEBIT CARDS

  • A valid billing address in the United States, Canada, or any other nation is required for all credit cards.
  • Bookings and fares are not guaranteed until the provider tickets them.
  • Car rentals, hotel reservations, and vacation packages are not assured unless you get an email confirmation number.
  • We request authorization for the amount of your projected transaction and hold it temporarily when you give your credit or debit card details to make a purchase. You will not be charged if we cannot proceed with the confirmation of your booking for whatever reason. We'll then ask your bank to release the hold. These funds are on hold and will not be accessible for other uses.
  • You will be contacted within 72 hours if your card is rejected for any reason.
  • The submission of a credit card does not guarantee a reservation.

FareBird shall not be held liable if your credit or debit card is declined or not charged for any reason. For example, your airline may be unable to confirm your reservation, or adequate funds may be unavailable on your credit card.

If airfares have risen, you will be provided other alternatives and the chance to cancel your reservation at no additional cost. The ticket cannot be canceled and reimbursed after the booking has been ticketed at a price originally offered to you.

FareBird employs stringent security procedures to process credit card payments. If there are any fake transactions, the airlines, airport security, and other federal and state law enforcement agencies are notified.

You acknowledge that you will be held accountable for all and any credit card transactions. You agree not to dispute charges after completing a successful transaction and receiving your tickets and/or other commodities/ products via mail or email confirmation.

You agree to reimburse FareBird in the event of a credit card dispute or chargeback for a service acquired on our website.

The majority of credit card transactions done over the phone with our Customer Support are recorded and accessible as documentation in the event of a dispute.

Credit card transactions are allowed in online payments when a user accepts these Terms & Conditions and proceeds to make a booking.

Such transactions will not be completed until our credit card verification team has certified that they are safe to process in order to provide your safety in the event of a high-risk transaction. We may call you or your bank to validate potentially high-risk transactions.

DECLINED CREDIT CARD TRANSACTIONS

If your credit card is declined during the transaction, the purchase will not be completed, and we will endeavor to notify you through email within 72 hours. Please keep in mind that the fare and any other booking details cannot be confirmed. As a result, if the airfare changes, you have the option to cancel the reservation without penalty. In addition, you will not be charged any service costs.

SPECIAL REQUESTS: SEATS, MEALS, FREQUENT FLYER

Seats, meals, frequent flyer miles, and other services are available upon request. There is no assurance that the seats you requested will be given to you. We also cannot guarantee that the airline will honor requests for meals, frequent flyer miles, or other benefits.  Furthermore, any expenses we charge you for catering to such demands on your behalf are not refundable.

As a result, we recommend contacting the airline directly to confirm these demands before the departure date.

BAGGAGE POLICY AND FEES

Each airline charges an extra baggage fee for any additional luggage you bring. Even for the first luggage checked-in, most airlines levy a cost. We recommend traveling light if you want to prevent paying more money for your luggage.

The luggage cost often varies from $15 to $200. It varies based on the parameters and weight of the bag, and it is paid for each checked bag. This charge must be paid directly to the airline. Although we make every effort to keep the baggage prices up to date, we still recommend that you directly contact the airline to confirm the most up-to-date fees and policies for checked bags.

BAGGAGE POLICY FOR CONNECTING FLIGHTS

If your ticket includes two or more airlines, you will need to claim your luggage at the connecting airport and check-in with the baggage again to continue your travel. Each airline will charge you more if you fly with excess luggage.

PURCHASING OPTIONAL AIRLINE SERVICES AND PRODUCTS

Depending on the airline(s) in your itinerary, we may offer you the option to buy services such as checked luggage and pre-reserved seat assignment. However, you will have to pay a premium for such services. This charge will be in addition to the price of the ticket.

Note: The airline's conditions of usage and availability apply to optional items and services.

There are no refunds available for any costs we charge you for accommodating such requests on your behalf. We cannot guarantee that the airline will comply with such requests (s).

We highly encourage you to review the airline's regulations on the optional items and services you wish to purchase.

You acknowledge that FareBird is just a marketing agent for any airline's additional services and goods. You also agree that our entire responsibility to you arising from or in connection with your request for extra services and goods via us is limited to the cost of such services or products purchased. We highly advise you to contact the operating carrier if you have any questions or concerns about the use or availability of such extra services and goods.

FLIGHT CANCELLATIONS/ SCHEDULE CHANGES

Flight Cancellations

Flight schedule changes or cancellations may occur as a result of:

  • An airport terminal or gate changes
  • Fuel prices
  • Bankruptcy
  • Peak/ high/low travel seasons
  • Civil unrest
  • Natural disasters such as earthquakes, hurricanes, volcanoes, etc.

FareBird shall not be held liable for flights that are missed, canceled, or do not connect owing to airline scheduling changes, as per company policy.

Policy on Schedule Changes

The airline's policies on schedule adjustments may differ, and we have no control over them.

Changes in flight schedules may be necessary owing to each airline's operating requirements. These changes (in time, flight number, routing, departure/arrival dates, or cancellations) frequently predict future travel demands, but they can also represent changes on the same day. Flight cancellations occur when an airline suspends service on specific days of the week or suspends or temporarily cancels service to particular cities.

If there are any schedule changes, FareBird will make every attempt to notify the customer. However, contacting the airline directly to reconfirm your tickets within 72 hours of departure is always suggested.

Before Departure

FareBird will tell you through email if an airline changes any of its flights within 4 hours of your original travel timings. We will make every effort to reach you via additional methods of communication that you supplied at the time of reservation. If we cannot contact you, please consider our email to be the final notification.

Tickets will not be refunded if the changes occur within four hours. However, even if the schedule modification exceeds 4 hours, some ticket kinds may not be refunded. FareBird are not responsible for being canceled, missed, or not connected due to airline schedule changes.

Departure Date

You will need to talk with an agent at the airline's counter if you are already at the airport. Options may be limited due to extreme weather conditions. The weather at your destination or connecting city may differ from that in your departing city. As a result, you should always check the airline's website and weather channels to stay updated on airport updates. In such circumstances, it is always preferable to call the airline directly on the day of departure.

Customer Responsibilities

You must verify your flights with the airlines 24 to 72 hours before departure as a customer. Always check your emails to remain updated on flight schedules and respond as soon as possible.

Customer Notification

We will try to send at least three emails and phone calls at least once, depending on when we get the update from the airline and the travel dates. If you do not contact airline or FareBird before your departure, you may be subject to the following:

  • You will miss your flight or
  • You may lose the value of your tickets, and your flight may be delayed by one or two days if the airline can accommodate you.

Services Offered

When you contact FareBird, we will contact the airline on your behalf and attempt to find a solution. The sole option is to cancel the flight and receive a full refund in rare situations.

Customers who fail to meet their duties risk missing their flight and losing the value of their ticket, with no other choices available.

FareBird will attempt to contact the airlines in issue in order to re-protect the consumer. However, this is dependent on the airline(s) concerned about your trip. If the airline(s) is/are unable to re-protect the consumer, we will seek a refund.

If a flight is canceled, we will attempt to contact the airline, search for alternative flights, and/or arrange a refund.

OVERBOOKED FLIGHTS

If a flight is overbooked, there is a potential that a seat for which you have a confirmed reservation will be unavailable. Because each airline has its unique procedures for dealing with such situations, we recommend that you contact the airline directly or call our customer service team for further information.

VISA AND ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

If you fail to present proper travel documents and are barred from entry or transit into a nation, FareBird will not be held liable.

So, before you plan an itinerary, make sure you have all of the necessary travel paperwork (entry visa/ transit visa) for the nation you'll be entering and/or transiting. Kindly call the consulate/embassy of the country(s) you are traveling or transiting through for more information on international travel and meeting visa, passport, and other travel requirements, or go to www.travel.state.gov.

As a user, you understand and accept that FareBird is not responsible for determining whether or not a passenger is eligible to enter or transit through any particular nation. Purchasing airline tickets via FareBird does not ensure entry into the destination country. If FareBird personnel provide information, it must be checked with government authorities. This information does not imply that FareBird is responsible.

GENERAL RESTRICTIONS

  • Since last-minute schedule changes may occur, you must confirm all of your flights straight with the airline. Domestic flights must be re-confirmed at least 24 hours prior to departure, while flights to Hawaii and overseas destinations must be re-confirmed at least 72 hours prior to departure.
  • Upgrades and standbys will be prohibited in the vast majority of circumstances. They are solely the responsibility of the relevant airline.
  • You will not be eligible for frequent flyer miles accrual if you purchase our discounted tickets in most instances.
  • The airlines will be notified of seat requests. FareBird, on the other hand, makes no guarantees that your requests will be completed. Don't hesitate to contact the airline directly if you have any special requirements, such as "wheelchair" or "stretcher assistance," or if you need quick confirmation on your seat.
  • FareBird reserves the right to refuse requests for travel to countries where the U.S. government has imposed travel restrictions.
  • A passenger's departure tax or tariff from overseas locations such as the Caribbean, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and Australia can be computed at the time of departure. These are airport-collected local government taxes that are not included in the initial ticket price.

HUMAN ERROR

FareBird are dedicated to delivering reimbursement up to the full amount of service fees earned for that specific reservation, as well as a $50 coupon redeemable for purchases from FareBird during the next 12 months. If any of our agents are found to have made a mistake during the booking process, FareBird will make every effort to rectify the situation immediately. As a user, you must report any mistakes to us within 24 hours after obtaining your itinerary. FareBird will not be held liable for these mistakes after these 24-hours have passed.

RE-CONFIRMATION OF ITINERARY

The traveler has to examine and re-confirm the specifics of the itinerary, including name, dates, flight numbers, airlines, and route, including all airport changes, once the booking has been confirmed. Don't hesitate to contact FareBird customer service staff within 4 hours after completing your booking if there are any problems with your itinerary.

If you cannot reach us by phone within four hours of making your booking, your booking will be considered accepted by you, and we will not be held liable for any later inconsistencies. We recommend that you properly examine and save your itinerary.

UNACCOMPANIED MINOR POLICY

You must confirm with the airline directly to learn about the requirements, limits, and related costs for unaccompanied minors since policies and regulations for children ages 16 through 18 (age varies by airline) flying alone may vary.

In some cases, airlines may:

  • charge additional costs at check-in;
  • refuse to allow unaccompanied children to fly without an adult; or
  • only allow unaccompanied kids to travel on non-stop flights.

When two or more accompanied minors travel together, the one under the age of 18 is not considered an adult.

HAZARDOUS MATERIALS

Travelers are prohibited from bringing prohibited items into their bags or onto planes under federal law. Any breach of the statute might result in a five-year jail sentence, as well as fines of $250,000 or more (49 U.S.C. 5124). Bombs, volatile liquids and solids, poisons, compressed gases, oxidizers, radioactive materials, and corrosives are examples of hazardous materials. Paints, tear gases, lighter fluid, fireworks, oxygen bottles, and radiopharmaceuticals are a few examples.

EXCEPTIONS TO TRANSPORTATION OF UNSAFE MATERIALS

Medicinal and sanitary items in modest quantities (up to 70 ounces total) that you can bring in your luggage, as well as some smoking materials, are exceptions. Contact your airline's agent for further information on these exceptions.

AIRCRAFT DISINSECTION

Some destination nations mandate airplanes treat passenger cabins with insecticides prior to departure or use an aerosol insecticide while the cabin is occupied.
